The 6th grade boys FLYL program will focus on the development of lacrosse fundamentals and skills. The commitment and level of competition will increase from years past. Game like situations will look more like a high school competition with long poles, man up/man down, etc. Coaches will hold high expectations as they continue to build skills, field sense and competitiveness in their players.
SEASON: April through June 5th.
PRACTICES: Monday and Friday 6:00pm - 7:30pm, Saturday 11:30am - 1pm (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
GAMES: 6th graders will compete in approximately 10-12 games and 1 tournament. ALL SUBJECT TO CHANGE
EQUIPMENT: Full equipment is required: lacrosse stick, helmet, arm pads, shoulder pads, gloves, athletic supporter, cleats, and mouthguard. (Effective 1/1/22, shoulder pads for boys' field players must be designed for lacrosse and meet NOCSAE standard ND200. All chest protectors and shoulder pads MUST contain the NOCSAE logo and SEI certification mark on both the packaging and the product to be legal for play.)
